Proper Teas is an organic tea company dedicated to offering award-winning, sustainably sourced teas to the public through events, local retailers, and our website. Our sister company, Teas Me (the wholesale branch of our business), has been crafting exceptional teas since 2006, and we continue that legacy with every blend we create.

We carefully select ingredients from the best organic and sustainable producers. Our English Breakfast Tea, Propertea, was named Champion Tea by Taste of the West in 2023, while Teaheehee was a finalist in 2024. Our Dartmoor Caravan was awarded Platinum from Food and Drink Devon for 2025/2026. Our Chai, Earl Grey and Velvet Mountains teas have earned gold awards, further testament to the quality we deliver.

As a small, passionate company based in Devon, we hand-blend all of our teas with care. We exclusively offer loose leaf teas, which provide the best flavour and flexibility, allowing customers to use only what they need.

In our commitment to sustainability, all of our packaging is plastic-free. The clear packaging is made from cellulose, and we use recycled paper and boxes to reduce our environmental impact.
