Since 2018, family-run Surfing Cow has been supplying retailers, cafes, restaurants and farm shops with luxury, award-winning gelato. We make our gelato using fresh whole milk from our farm in South Devon. Our Jersey X cows product the most fantastic, creamy milk which is what makes our gelato taste so great. Our production unit is based on the farm, so food miles are more like food metres, with just a few hundred between the milking parlour and the gelato unit. Our on-farm gelateria is open during school holidays serving up scoops on cones, sundaes, ice cream milkshakes, and you can buy take home tubs of our popular flavours too. You can find us on the road to Mothecombe beach, just keep an eye out for our signs. We have a big range of flavours on offer, including all of the classics and a number of 'one-off' specials. Our signature flavour is Devon Dairy, its our original farmhouse-style flavour. We also have a kids play area, and in the Summer holidays a Maize Maze, Sunflower and Wildflower PYO meadow.
