On outstanding entrants we present Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or ‘Best’ awards each year which ensure you get the recognition you deserve, based on our guiding principles of quality, sustainability and provenance, and a host of other criteria.
To ensure fairness and impartiality all products are blind-tasted and venues are ‘mystery-shopped’ by an independent and unbiased panel of judges including chefs, artisan makers, farmers, food and drink writers and influencers from the region’s food and drink sector.
Judges complete a detailed report and an independent adjudicator verifies the results and winners. All entrants benefit from valuable, objective feedback to aid research and development.
Previous winners have enjoyed press and media coverage, increased sales revenue and brand awareness… and, of course, the well-known and respected green heart trophy and window sticker to alert customers to your win.
